Focado em pesquisas sobre esclerose lateral amiotr\u00f3fica (ELA), o pr\u00eamio tem como objetivo incentivar e reconhecer jovens que pesquisam essa doen\u00e7a neurodegenerativa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">Podem se candidatar pesquisadores b\u00e1sicos ou cl\u00ednicos e outros profissionais de sa\u00fade, com at\u00e9 40 anos de idade. Os trabalhos devem abordar as causas e o tratamento de ELA.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">O autor do melhor trabalho receber\u00e1 US$ 20 mil e uma medalha de ouro. O pr\u00eamio ser\u00e1 entregue na abertura do Simp\u00f3sio Internacional de ELA, organizado pela Motor Neuron Disease Association, que ocorrer\u00e1 em dezembro, na B\u00e9lgica.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">O julgamento ser\u00e1 feito por autoridades cient\u00edficas nacionais e estrangeiras.
