A alta foi menor que a verificada em janeiro, quando a taxa evoluiu 0,65%. A <em><strong>infla\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><\/em> acumula alta de 1,18% no ano e de 5,98% nos per\u00edodo de doze meses terminado em meados de fevereiro, quase 0,5 ponto percentual abaixo do verificado no mesmo per\u00edodo de 2010-2011 (6,44%).<\/p>\n<p>O IPCA-15, medido pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estat\u00edstica (IBGE), registra a varia\u00e7\u00e3o de pre\u00e7os do dia 15 de um m\u00eas ao dia 15 do m\u00eas subsequente e \u00e9 considerado uma pr\u00e9via do IPCA oficial, que mede a infla\u00e7\u00e3o do m\u00eas cheio.<\/p>\n<p>Segundo o IBGE, a estabilidade dos pre\u00e7os dos alimentos foi a maior contribui\u00e7\u00e3o para a redu\u00e7\u00e3o do \u00edndice. O grupo alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o e bebidas mostrou forte redu\u00e7\u00e3o no ritmo de aumento, de 1,25% em janeiro para 0,29% em fevereiro, enquanto a varia\u00e7\u00e3o de pre\u00e7os da alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o fora de casa caiu de 1,47% para 0,65%.<\/p>\n<p>Quem puxou a infla\u00e7\u00e3o no per\u00edodo foram as despesas com educa\u00e7\u00e3o, que dispararam de 0,39% para 5,66%, devido, sobretudo, ao aumento das mensalidades dos cursos reguladores (6,95%).<\/p>\n<p>Dentre os \u00edndices regionais, o maior aumento foi registrado no Rio de Janeiro (1,23%), reflexo, principalmente, da alta das tarifas dos \u00f4nibus urbanos (5,77%) e do reajuste dos sal\u00e1rios dos empregados dom\u00e9sticos (7,65%).
