Em 2009, foram 1.022 casos identificados pelo projeto &#8220;Um Olhar para as Altas Habilidades&#8221; &#8211; crescimento de 61% em compara\u00e7\u00e3o a 2008, quando os professores relataram a exist\u00eancia de 397 superdotados.<\/p>\n<p>Em 2007, quando o programa foi lan\u00e7ado, 79 alunos apresentavam altas habilidades. Ao todo, j\u00e1 foram identificados 1.498 alunos superdotados. Desde o ano do lan\u00e7amento do programa, foram capacitados 270 professores para identificar alunos que se destacassem dos demais.<\/p>\n<p>A capacita\u00e7\u00e3o dos educadores resultou no livro &#8220;Um olhar para as altas habilidades: constru\u00e7\u00e3o de caminhos&#8221;, produzido pela Secretaria da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o, como subs\u00eddio \u00e0s escolas.
